Camden County scored a convincing 50-15 win over Archer in the finals of the GHSA Team Dual State Championships Saturday at the Macon Centreplex to capture the Class 7A title. The GHSA Team Dual Wrestling State Championships return to the Macon Centreplex Jan. 12-14 where seven classifications will crown state champs for the first time in state history. This shuffling and reclassification shakes up the field a year after Georgia saw all six of its reigning champs successfully defend titles at the team duals. Class AAA-AAAAAA opened up the 2016 GHSA State Dual Wrestling Championships on Thursday and the defending champs in the state’s highest four classifications set the pace early by outscoring opponents by a combined 263-36.
