Last week: Beat Norcross 20-17. Colquitt County blew a 13-0 halftime lead, then scored the game-winner with 5:30 left on Ty Leggett’s 34-yard run on the end of a nine-play, 80-yard drive. Colquitt County held Norcross to minus-12 yards rushing and led in first downs 19-8 and total yards 292-122 but lost two fumbles, one returned for a touchdown in the third quarter. Steve Krajewski was 13-of-20 passing for 138 yards. Brian Merritt had 2.5 tackles for losses totaling 20 yards. Next: Saturday vs. Vista Murrieta, Calif. (0-0)

Last week: Beat Valdosta 45-0. Lowndes led 10-0 at halftime, then blew the game open with a 29-point third quarter. Tyson Shaw (fumble return) and Tayvonn Kyle (interception) scored defensive touchdowns. Lowndes held Valdosta to four first downs and 65 total yards. QB Michael Barrett rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown and was 8-of-15 passing for 86 yards and two touchdowns. Next: Friday vs. International School, Fla. (0-0)

Last week: Beat McEachern 23-19. Mill Creek trailed 19-7 at halftime, its only points from Jon Gipson’s 97-yard punt return, but drove 80 yards on 15 plays to open the second half and later 94 yards on 10 plays to take the lead for good with 5:39 left. Brady Longenecker was 15-of-23 passing for 134 yards. Mill Creek was outgained 332-62 in the first half but turned the tables 220-62 in the second. Mill Creek has won 26 consecutive regular-season games, and McEachern is the seventh ranked opponent to fall during that streak. Last week: Beat Peachtree Ridge 50-13. Fred Payton, a transfer from Peachtree Ridge, was 11-of-14 passing for 160 yards and one touchdown. Archer took a 25-7 lead into the fourth quarter, weathered a 100-yard interception return for a touchdown and beat Brookwood, which is Archer coach Andy Dyer’s alma mater and the previous No. 6-ranked team. Semaje’ Banks rushed for 109 yards, and Carter Peevy was 14-of-22 passing for 116 yards. Archer held Brookwood – which returned 10 offensive starters – to 30 yards rushing, 201 total. Last week: Lost to Colquitt County 20-17. Norcross took a 17-13 lead with 8:30 left on Dareus Barnhill’s 53-yard fumble return, but Colquitt County responded with an 80-yard drive for the winning touchdown. Norcross was held to minus-12 yards rushing. QB Louis Williams was 17-of-25 passing for 134 yards but was sacked six times. Norcross PK Jake Camarda hit a 52-yard field goal. Last week: Lost to Mill Creek 23-19. McEachern led 19-7 at halftime after putting up 332 yards of total offense to Mill Creek’s 62 but failed to score in the second half. Kell missed an extra point that would’ve sent the game to a second overtime. Vann had seven catches for 157 yards and three touchdowns. Tucker led in total yards 322-224.
