Class AAA

Pierce County 49, Bremen 27

How the game was won: Pierce County outscored Bremen 28-13 in the first half and used 356 rushing yards and 190 passing yards to overwhelm the visiting Blue Devils.

Top Performers: Pierce County was led by Stetson Bennett who was 11-of-16 passing for 190 yards and two touchdowns. Shyhiem Clark rushed for 190 yards and three touchdowns. Jay Bethea had four receptions for 88 yards and one touchdown. Bremen, who was the last No. 4 seed left in the Class AAA playoffs, gained  269 rushing yards and 154 passing yards.

Liberty County 28, Sonoraville 14

How the game was won: Jaalon Frazier capped off a 56-yard drive with a 14-yard touchdown pass to Dylan Stewart with 5:07 left in the third quarter to put the game out of reach for Sonoraville.

Top Performers: Jaalon Frazier was 13-of-21 for 202 yards and three touchdowns. Frazier also ran for 120 yards on 12 carries and one touchdown. Dylan Stewart gained 77 yards on three receptions with two touchdowns. Kris Coleman caught six passes for 76 yards and one touchdown in the win. Sonoraville found scores from Tristan Key on a 55 yard run and Cameron Keith on a  14 yard pass from Patrick Moore.

Calhoun 41, Jackson 20

How the game was won: Jackson struck first on a 59 yard pass from Shaderious Crowder to Deontae Barlow but then Calhoun got things flowing. The Yellow Jackets quarterback Baylon Spector led the way and had a hand in four touchdowns to put the game out of reach in the second half. Ryan Randall anchored the Calhoun defense with two crucial interceptions, one in the final quarter. Davis Allen seal the win with a 27 yard interception return in the final minutes.

Top Performers: Spector finished the game with 137 yards passing and 100 yards rushing and threw two touchdown passes to Luke Jones (63 yards) and Malik Lawrence (12 yards). Randall also rushed in from five yards out. Jackson found scoring from Antivirus Greer on a 70 yard pass and Laderrick Johnson scored on an 84 yard fumble return.

Crisp County 30, Lovett 29

How the game was won: With :37 seconds left in the game and down 29-23, Crisp County quarterback Patrick Felton connected with Quay Walker on a 25 yard touchdown pass to pull the Cougars past Lovett in their biggest test of the season. Crisp moves to 12-0 for the first time in school history. The Cougars will face Pierce County in the Elite Eight.

Top Performers: Felton had three touchdown passes in the win. Tubby Spivey caught two passes of 55 and 19 yards for scores. Lovett found scoring from J.T. Carr on a one yard diving touchdown. Brady Tindall connected with Trent Beavor on a 13-yard touchdown pass. Evan McKown also scored on a short Tindall pass.

Greater Atlanta Christian 34, Worth County 21

How the game was won: Brooks Buce booted a 52-yard field goal to give the Spartans an early 10-0 lead and added a 47-yarder for Greater Atlanta Christian’s final score.

Top performers: Spartans quarterback Davis Mills threw touchdown passes to Trent Fowler and Jeffrey Blake and ran in a touchdown. Kyle McMichael added a rushing touchdown that gave GAC a 17-7 lead.
