Daily List: Thirteen underdogs that won in the first round

Football, listOnly 13 of 112 first-round playoff games were considered upsets, according to the Maxwell Ratings. These are the 13, with the projected margin of victory on the left. For Heritage of Ringgold, this year has brought the school’s first winning season, first playoff berth and first playoff victory, and now the biggest playoff upset, per Maxwell, winning as a 21-point underdog. Five of the 13 here are northwest or northeast Georgia schools.
