Last week: Beat Etowah 17-14. Roswell scored the winning touchdown on Sheldon Evans’ 6-yard run with a minute left at the end of an 83-yard drive. Sam Diroberto intercepted two passes, one that set up a touchdown in the second quarter, the other that clinched the win in the final seconds. Evans rushed for 96 yards on 20 carries. Malik Willis was 15-of-27 passing for 116 yards. Next: Friday vs. Woodstock (5-3)

*2. (2) Mill Creek (9-0)

Last week: Beat Mountain View 35-23. Mill Creek clinched Region 6. Anthony Presto rushed for 128 yards on 18 carries, and his 41-yard TD run in the fourth quarter broke open a tight game. Next: Nov. 4 at Duluth (2-6)

*3. (3) Grayson (7-1)

Last week: Beat Newton 34-0. Grayson held Newton to less than 50 yards in total offense and recorded its third shutout in four games. Kurt Taylor rushed for 105 yards. Next: Friday at Hoover, Ala. (8-1)

Last week: Beat North Paulding 34-6. Xavier Reddick broke the game open with a 77-yard fumble return that gave McEachern a 21-6 lead in the third quarter. McEachern forced five turnovers. Courtney Mills returned a fumble 62 yards for another score. Jaytlin Askew had two interceptions. Quay Holmes scored two touchdowns, one a 39-yard run, the other a 95-yard kickoff return that gave McEachern a 7-3 lead after North Paulding’s Jackson Gravely made a 52-yard field goal. Last week: Beat Berkmar 58-0. Necholas Sermons scored on a 53-yard run on the first play from scrimmage, and Norcross led 37-0 entering the second quarter. Norcross also scored on its second play from scrimmage (Baron Radcliff’s 77-yard pass to Jacobe Burrell). Burrell then returned a punt 42 yards for a touchdown. Next: Friday vs. Brookwood (6-2)

Last week: Beat Camden County 43-10. Lowndes had eight sacks, two by Devon Holmes, and held Camden County to 77 yards in total offense. Travis Tisdale and Michael Barrett each rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns. Barrett was 7-of-11 passing for 77 yards. Next: Friday at Colquitt County (5-4)

Last week: Beat Tift County 37-13. Jay Saunders was 15-of-23 passing for 236 yards and caught a 19-yard TD pass from WR Tory Ponder. Freshman Daijun Edwards rushed for 124 yards on 18 carries. Tift QB Griffin Collier was held to 100 yards passing. He threw for 411 against Colquitt last year. Next: Friday vs. Lowndes (8-1)

Last week: Beat Marietta 31-16. C.J. Cole rushed for 118 yards on 21 carries and caught a 76-yard pass from Will Lovett that set up a short TD run and a 28-16 lead. Christian Singleton rushed for 131 yards on 18 carries. North Cobb limited Marietta QB Harrison Bailey to 13-of-30 passing for 204 yards. Next: Friday at Hillgrove (5-3)

*9. (10) Brookwood (6-2)

Last week: Beat Parkview 24-23. Brookwood’s Dante Black scored on a 5-yard run in overtime, and Parkview then missed the extra point on its possession, giving Brookwood the victory. Angelo DiSpigna was 16-of-29 passing for 196 yards and two touchdowns. Black rushed for 136 yards on 28 carries. Brookwood clinched its first winning season since 2012 and can win its first region title since 2010 with a victory this week. Next: Friday at Norcross (8-0)

*10. (8) Parkview (5-3)

Last week: Lost to Brookwood 24-23. Parkview tied the game 17-17 with 2:21 left in regulation on Caleb Mitchell’s 47-yard TD pass to Justin Long, but a missed extra point in overtime ended the game. Mitchell was 18-of-33 passing for 174 yards. Christian Malloy rushed for 106 yards on 18 carries. Next: Friday vs. Meadowcreek (1-7)

*1. (1) Valdosta (7-1)

Last week: Beat Lee County 27-7. Jalen Everett intercepted three passes, returning one to the Lee County 6-yard line, and Valdosta forced five turnovers overall and raced to a 27-0 halftime lead. Valdosta scored its first touchdown on a fourth-and-goal from the 14 on a double pass, with Wesley Veal hitting QB Hunter Holt for the score. Valdosta won easily despite less than 150 yards in total offense. Valdosta is one victory from its first region title since 2011, second since 2003. Next: Friday vs. Coffee (5-3)

*2. (2) Northside, Warner Robins (8-1)

Last week: Beat Coffee 17-14. Alex Gelter’s 30-yard field goal that gave Northside a 17-7 lead in the third quarter ended up being the difference. Northside’s Tae Daley blocked a Coffee field-goal attempt, and Isaiah Nelson intercepted Coffee at the 1-yard line. Desean Dinkins rushed for 82 yards on 18 carries, and Tobias Oliver ran for 88 on 19 and was 8-of-11 passing for 113 yards. Next: Friday at Houston County (6-2)

Last week: Beat Harrison 31-14. With the score 14-14 at halftime, Dalton dominated the second half, starting with Harrison Hughes’ 20-yard interception return for a touchdown on the first play from scrimmage. Dalton had four second-half sacks. Dalton RB Ahmaad Tanner rushed for 208 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries. Next: Friday vs. South Cobb (1-7)

Last week: Beat South Paulding 48-19. B.J. Phillips was 9-of-17 passing for 292 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 75 yards. Freshman Tyree Nelson rushed for 91 yards on 13 carries. South Paulding was held to 11 yards rushing. Next: Friday vs. Alexander (8-0)

Last week: Beat Creekside 51-35. Alexander outscored Creekside 23-0 in the third quarter to take a 51-19 lead. RB Daetrich Harrington rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on 29 carries and caught a 70-yard TD pass. Mason Wood was 15-of-23 passing for 212 yards and three touchdowns. Last week: Beat Richmond Hill 57-27. Kendall Cross rushed for 201 yards and five touchdowns on 18 carries. Deejay Dallas rushed for 174 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries and passed for 125 yards. Dallas also caught a 41-yard pass from Randon Jernigan. Richmond Hill entered the game 6-0. Last week: Lost to Northside, Warner Robins 17-14. Coffee was within 17-14 on Demetrius Davis’ fourth-and-goal, 1-yard run with 8:13 left but got no closer as Northside went on a 15-play drive to the Coffee 1-yard line. Coffee led in total yards 352-347. Max Hughes was 28-of-38 passing for 252 yards. Next: Friday at Valdosta (7-1)

Last week: Beat Kell 34-14. Jacob Cotton’s 35-yard interception return gave Carrollton a 28-14 lead with 8:59 left in the third quarter. Jaylan Thomas rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries. Mark Wright was 11-of-17 passing for 127 yards and a touchdown. Last week: Beat Marist 28-26. Blessed Trinity stopped Marist’s two-point attempt that would’ve tied the game with 2:04 left. Last week: Beat Baldwin 36-13. Burke County jumped to a 22-0 lead in the first quarter but didn’t put the game away until Cameron Holmes’ 1-yard run with 4:09 left made it 36-13. Burke rushed for 293 yards but was only 1-of-8 passing. Next: Friday at Thomson (8-0)

Last week: Beat Oconee County 16-9. Stephens County rallied from a 9-0 halftime deficit. A.J. Howard rushed for 127 yards on 14 carries and scored two touchdowns, his second with a minute to go to expand Stephens’ lead from 10-9 to 16-9. Next: Friday at Jefferson (7-1)

Last week: Lost to Blessed Trinity 28-26. Marist’s two-point conversion to tie with 2:04 left misfired. Marist had missed an extra point with 5:42 left. Michael Addicks rushed for 92 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries. QB Jack Dinges ran for 98 yards on 26 carries and was 6-of-14 passing for 41 yards. Next: Friday at Chestatee (4-5)

Last week: Beat Wesleyan 21-17. QB Joey Blount scored on a 1-yard sneak with 6:16 left, and Nicolas Toomer intercepted a Wesleyan pass on the goal line three minutes later. Last week: Beat Hawkinsville 55-8. K’hari Lane threw five TD passes in a game for the sixth time this season, this time in only 10 attempts. He completed eight for 255 yards and has 35 TD passes for the year. Curt McDonald and Keldric Thomas each had two TD receptions. Jared Daniels rushed for 157 yards.
